Bionomics
Larvae have been collected from the axils of bananas, Pandanus,
and bamboo stumps and internodes. Adults rest on the trunks of trees
and vegetation in jungle valleys located in mountainous areas.
Medical Importance
No species of Ayurakitia are known to be
involved in the transmission of pathogens.
